Booking & Cancellation Terms

These terms are between you and Tommy Gaunt Kitesurfing BVI LTD, trading as Anegada Boat Tours (“we” and “us”).

1. Booking and payment

You can book a tour through our website, or by WhatsApp, email or phone. When you book on our website, your booking is confirmed straight away and we email you a confirmation with the tour, date, departure time, number of guests and your booking reference. Bookings by WhatsApp, email or phone are confirmed when we confirm them to you by email or WhatsApp.

Our tours are private: the price covers your group of up to 4 guests, with a charge for each extra guest, up to 8 guests in total. Children under 10 go free. Prices are in US dollars.

We collect payment in person on the day of your trip, in cash or by card. There’s nothing to pay online. Your confirmation includes our Cancellation Policy Form, which asks for a card to hold the booking: your booking is secured once it’s complete. We only charge that card if you cancel or don’t show, as set out in section 2.

Online booking closes 24 hours before departure. For trips sooner than that, call or WhatsApp us on +1 (284) 344-9903 and we’ll do our best to fit you in.

Please give us a phone or WhatsApp number when you book, so we can reach you on the day.

2. Cancellations by you

  • Cancel more than 72 hours before your departure time and 50% of the trip price is charged.
  • Cancel within 72 hours of your departure time, or don’t arrive for your trip, and the full trip price is charged.

To cancel, email book@anegadaboattours.com or reply to your confirmation email, with your booking reference. We use the time we receive your message as the time you cancelled.

3. Weather & cancellations by us

Your safety comes first. Our captain makes the call on the day, based on the wind, the sea and the visibility.

If we have to call a trip off — for the weather or for any other reason on our side — we’ll offer you a new date first. If none of the dates we can offer work for you, you won’t be charged anything.

If conditions change while we’re out, the captain may change the route or the stops to keep everyone safe.

4. Changes and rescheduling

Need to change your date, time or group size? Get in touch as early as you can and we’ll do our best to help. Changes depend on availability, so we can’t promise them.

If you add guests, the extra guest price applies, up to 8 guests in total. For bigger groups we can run two trips, or organise a second boat for a tandem tour — just ask.

5. Refunds

If you’ve paid on the day and we cut a trip short for safety, we’ll refund you in the way you paid.

6. Safety & liability waiver

Boat trips and snorkeling carry some risk. By booking, you agree that you and everyone in your group take part at your own risk, and that you’ll:

  • follow the captain’s and crew’s instructions at all times;
  • tell us before the trip about any medical condition, injury or pregnancy that could affect anyone in your group, and whether everyone can swim — the Horseshoe Reef drift snorkel is for confident swimmers only;
  • make sure children under 16 are accompanied by an adult.

We may refuse to take anyone, or bring anyone back to shore, whose behaviour — including the effects of alcohol — puts themselves or others at risk. In that case the full trip price still applies.

We may ask each guest (or a parent or guardian for anyone under 18) to sign a waiver before boarding. We aren’t responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings, so please keep phones and cameras in a dry bag.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
